Husky Soccer Tickets On Sale Starting Tuesday

SEATTLE - The University of Washington announced today tickets for the 2008 Husky men's and women's soccer home games will go on sale Tues., July 1 at 8:30 a.m.
Single-game tickets can be purchased online at www.gohuskies.com, by phone at (206) 543-2200 (M - F, 8:30 - 4:30), or in-person at the Husky Ticket Office located on campus at 101 Graves Building (M - F, 8:30 - 5:00). Adult tickets are $6 while children and senior citizens get a discounted rate of $4. Family plans are also available for $15.
For season tickets, fans can purchase an Olympic Sports pass, which is good for general admission seating to all regular season games for men's and women's soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, softball and baseball as well as non-conference women's basketball games. Olympic Sports passes also go on sale July 1 at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $40 for adults, $30 for children and senior citizens and $85 for a family pass.
The Husky men's soccer team, coming off its 19th trip to the NCAAA tournament, begins their 2008 campaign Aug. 22 with an exhibition at home against Seattle University. Entrance to the game is free of charge. The first regular season home games at Husky Soccer Field take place Sept. 19 and 21 with the 20th annual Husky Fever Classic. The Huskies will take on Cal-State Fullerton and New Mexico.
The rest of the home schedule features matches against Northwest rival Gonzaga (Sept. 28) along with home games against Pac-10 foes Stanford (Oct. 3), 2007 Pac-10 champion California (Oct. 5), UCLA (Oct. 24), San Diego St. (Oct. 26) and Oregon State (Nov. 14).
The Husky women begin their 2008 home schedule with the Husky/Nike Invitational Sept. 5 and 7 where they will square off against Colgate and Kennesaw State. Later in the season, the Huskies play non-conference games against Utah (Sept. 25) and Hawaii (Sept. 28) before turning their attention to Pac-10 play. UW will host Stanford (Oct. 17) and Cal (Oct. 19) before wrapping up the regular season against Arizona State (Nov. 7) and Arizona (Nov. 9).
