Three Stanford Golfers Competing In The Pacific Coast Amateur Championship

STANFORD, Calif. - Three Stanford men's golfers, seniors Daniel Lim and Dodge Kemmer, along with sophomore Steve Ziegler, have headed north of the border to take part in the 42nd annual Pacific Coast Amateur Championship, which began today at the Royal Colwood Golf Club in Victoria, British Columbia.
Lim is in a three-way tie for seventh place and is three strokes back of first after shooting a two-under-par 68 in the opening round. Kemmer and Ziegler are tied in 50th with 11 other golfers with a three-over-par 73.
Two Canadians, James Allenby of Oregon State and Jordan Irwin from the University of Houston, are currently tied for the lead with a five-under-par 65.
The Pacific Coast Amateur Championship will continue tomorrow with the second of four rounds.
