Men's Golf Heads to Falcon Invitational

What's Happening This Week: The Washington State University men's golf team travels to Colorado to compete in the 40th annual Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, held at the 7,301-yard, par-72 Eisenhower Golf Club's Blue Course...the two day tournament will begin Saturday morning with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m...the teams will play 36 holes the first day and the final round Sunday morning.
The Field: The Cougars will compete against 16 teams this weekend: Air Force, Air Force JV, Colorado State, Long Beach State, New Mexico, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, Sacramento State, Southern Utah, UCCS, UNLV, Utah, Utah State, Utah Valley, Weber State and Wyoming...this will be the first Falcon Invitational appearance for the Cougars.
Traveling for the Cougars: Five Cougars will be traveling to Colorado this weekend: juniors Kevin Tucker, Austin Hurt and Nick Grigsby, sophomore Nick Ellis and freshman Trent Sanders...Kevin Tucker placed 23rd in the Pac-10 Championships last year and will be playing in the No. 1 spot for the Cougars on Saturday.
