AROUND THE LEAGUE

CALIFORNIA (3-0-2)
Cal increased its unbeaten streak to five as the Golden Bears tied their game with Santa Clara in the closing seconds of the match. SR D Tyler Barry connected on a penalty kick with four seconds left in regulation to force overtime, which eventually ended in a 1-1 draw.

OREGON STATE (2-3-1)
The Beavers traveled to New York over the weekend. Against Marist, Oregon State fell behind early, but two goals in the second half gave the Beavers a 2-1 victory. SO M Mike Parker scored the game-winning goal on an assist from SR F Robby Christner.

SAN DIEGO STATE (2-2-0)
The Aztecs posted the 400th victory in school history on Sunday with 2-0 shutout over Air Force. RS-JR MF Jamel Wallace and RS-JR D Matt McManus each scored their first goal of the season.

STANFORD (2-1-1)
In their lone match of the weekend, the Cardinal were able to hold off San Francisco and earn their second consecutive shutout. SO MF/F Bobby Warhaw scored his second goal of the year to give Stanford the 1-0 victory. JR GK John Moore collected four saves and currently holds a 266-minute scoreless streak, earning him Pac-10 Player of the Week honors.

UCLA (1-3-1)
Taking on its third straight ranked opponent, and fourth in five matches, UCLA was unable to connect on its seven shots and fell 0-3 to No. 19 Indiana. FR F Fernando Monge fired off the lone shot on goal for the Bruins.

WASHINGTON (2-3-0)
The Huskies traveled to Portland on Friday. Washington and Portland were tied, 1-1, going into the halftime break. However, Portland scored two second-half goals and the Hukies dropped the 3-1 decision. FR F Brent Richards netted his fourth goal of the season on an assist from FR MF Dylan Tucker-Gangnes, preventing a shutout.
