Men's Golf Heads to Corvallis for the Giustina Memorial

What's Happening This Week: The Washington State men's golf team travels to Corvallis, Ore., next week to compete in the Giustina Memorial Classic at the par 72, 7,030-yard Trysting Tree Golf Club...the two-day tournament will begin Monday with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m., with 36 holes of play, and will end with the final 18 holes starting tee times at 7:45 a.m., Tuesday...in addition to regular tournament scoring, OSU will pair the men's and women's teams from each participating school in a combined competition against the other participating schools.

The Field: Teams schedules to compete with WSU include host school Oregon State, Fresno State, Idaho, Nevada, Portland, Boise State and Sacramento State.

Traveling for the Cougars: Five Cougars will be traveling to take a swing at victory in Corvallis, Ore. on Monday...the Cougar men include juniors Kevin Tucker, Nick Grigsby and Austin Hurt, sophomore Nick Ellis and freshman Trent Sanders.

Last Time Out: The Cougars came home with a third place finish from the season-opening-Falcon Invitational at Air Force. Kevin Tucker and Nick Grigsby led the pack, both finishing in the top 10.
