AROUND THE LEAGUE

CALIFORNIA (5-1-2)
The Golden Bears captured their fourth shutout on the year as they defeated San Francisco, 2-0, Friday. SO F Andrew Wiedeman scored his third goal of the season. He now leads the team in goals scored, points (10) and is tied for first with four assists.

OREGON STATE (3-4-2)
The Beavers were in Los Angeles over the weekend taking Loyola Marymount into double overtime, resulting in a 1-1 tie. FR F Danny Mwanga scored the game-tying goal in the 58th minute for Oregon State. The goal was the first of his career as Mwanga was playing in his first match as a Beaver.

SAN DIEGO STATE (2-5-0)
The Aztecs traveled to New Hampshire as they took on No. 17 Dartmouth Sunday. In an evenly matched contest, both teams fired off 11 shots and collected seven saves. However, an early goal scored in the second minute of play gave the Big Green the 1-0 victory. SR F Nick Collins led the team in shots with three.

STANFORD (2-4-1)
Stanford fell to Santa Clara, 0-1, in overtime Sunday. The Cardinal out shot the Boncos 18-12, tying their season-high in shots, but were unable to put one in the net. SO F Bobby Warshaw took a team-leading eight shots, also a career-high. Stanford's three consecutive one-goal losses mark its longest such streak since 2003.

UCLA (2-3-3)
The Bruins improved their unbeaten streak to three as they tied both San Diego and Cal State Northridge, 1-1 and 2-2, respectively. JR MF Michael Stephens scored two of the three goals for UCLA, including the lone goal at San Diego. Stephens' also scored the game-tying goal to force overtime against CSUN. The junior set a new career-high in goals scored in a season with three.

WASHINGTON (5-3-0)
The Huskies, who are on a three-game winning streak, defeated Gonzaga, 2-1, Sunday. SO D Taylor Mueller scored his first goal of the season, the game-winner. He totaled three shots, two on goal. UW held a 19-9 shot advantage over the Bulldogs and currently leads the Conference in goals (17) and goals per game (2.12).
