SEATTLE - University of Washington head softball coach Heather Tarr announced today the Fall and Winter Clinic Series for the Husky softball program, which takes place in mid-November and mid-January.
The series kicks off with three evening sessions on Nov. 11, 18 and 20. Four separate clinics will take place each night, with pitching and hitting clinics running from 6:30-7:30 p.m., followed by an infield skills clinic and another hitting clinic from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Space is limited to just 20 players for each session. Clinics are open to players between the ages of 8 and 18 and cost $40 per session.
After the New Year, the Husky coaching staff and players will host three camps over a two-day span, on Sunday, Jan. 18, and Monday, Jan. 19. The camps kick off Sunday morning with an All-Skills Clinic from 9 a.m.-Noon, which is open to players between the ages of 8 and 18. Immediately following, Tarr and her staff will host a Coaches' Clinic from 1:30-6 p.m. for coaches interested in learning how the Husky coaching staff teaches the game.
The clinic series wraps up Monday, Jan. 19, with a High School Elite Clinic from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The camp is open to players between the ages of 13 and 18 who are serious about playing softball at the next level.
