Huskies Tee Off At Stanford Collegiete

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- The UW women's golf team faces a tough field of 15 schools at the Stanford Intercollegiate tournament, starting today, including nine schools ranked in the top 25 by Golfweek.
Washington, which has earned at No. 25 ranking by Golfweek, is coming off of a third-place finish at its home tournament, the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational Oct. 6-8. Other ranked teams joining the Huskies at the Stanford Golf Course will be No. 1 USC, No. 3 UCLA, No. 5 Oklahoma State, No. 6 Vanderbilt, No. 9 Duke, No. 14 Pepperdine, No. 18 Califonia, No. 19 Stanford and No. 24 Arkansas. Filling out the field are Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Oregon State, Texas and UNLV.
UW's line up this week consists of Karinn Dickinson, Anya Alvarez, Christina Yoon, Nicole Ferrero and Molly Aronsson. Friday tee times for the Huskies begin with Aronsson at 9:15 a.m., and finish with Dickinson at 9:51 a.m. UW is paired up with Stanford and UCLA for the first day.
