Nick Taylor Tied For 7th Heading Into Final Round

ADELAIDE, AUSTRAILIA -- UW junior Nick Taylor shot a third-round 68 (4-under) at the Adelaide Golf Club, one of two courses being played at the World Amateur Team Golf Championship this weekend.

Taylor's third-round score vaulted him from 25th to 7th in the individual standings. Taylor, who is from Abbotsford, B.C., is one of three players representing Canada. Playing the front nine at Adelaide, Taylor converted four birdies and six total to climb the international field ladder. Also playing in the tournament is Huskies' sophomore Tze Huang Choo, a Singapore native, who is sitting in a tie for 55th place after shooting a 1-over 73.

Final round action is today, starting with Choo, who tees off at 2:22 p.m. PT and Taylor tees off at 7 p.m. PT.
