FSN will double the pleasure this week with a pair of televised matches. The first match features No. 5 STANFORD at No. 14 USC on Fri., Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. PT, followed by a matchup between Top 10 ranked squads as No. 5 STANFORD visits No. 10 UCLA on Sun., Oct. 26 at 12:30 p.m. PT. Paul Sunderland will call the action, while Karch Kiraly and Holly McPeak provide color commentary.... Seven Pac-10 teams are among the Top 25 in the latest CBS College Sports/AVCA Top 25 Poll - No. 4 CALIFORNIA, No. 5 STANFORD, No. 6 WASHINGTON, No. 7 OREGON, No. 10 UCLA, No. 14 USC and No. 24 OREGON STATE. ARIZONA is just on the outside, receiving enough votes to come in at No. 26. It's the 22nd consecutive week with at least six Pac-10 teams ranked among the Top 25.

During the month of October, Pac-10 teams will help raise awareness about breast cancer during selected home matches. Among the promotional events planned, teams will wear pink accessories (uniforms, ribbons, wristbands, etc.), pink game balls will be used for the match, and pink mini volleyballs will be tossed into the stands.
Around the League - ARIZONA snapped a four-match losing streak with an upset win over then-No. 11 USC. It also snapped a four-match losing streak to the Women of Troy. Sophomore OH Whitney Dosty, who played just one set against UCLA and did not record a kill, responded with a match-high 20 kills against USC... ARIZONA STATE sophomore OH Sarah Reaves (4.07 kps) and senior OH Margie Giordano (3.32 kps) are combing for 7.39 kps. The duo has accounted for 531 of the teams 870 kills (61%)... At 17-1, CALIFORNIA is off to its best start in school history. And at 7-0, Cal ties its best start in conference play. While Cal had its consecutive sets won streak end at 29 when it lost the first set at Stanford, the Golden Bears extended their win streak to 12 matches... OREGON senior L Katie Swoboda posted 31 digs in the five-set loss to Washington. It was the fourth 30-plus dig match of the season, and sixth of her career. She's just 80 digs from becoming the fifth player in Pac-10 history to reach 2,000 digs in a career... OREGON STATE junior OH Rachel Rourke pushed her season average to 3.99 kps after picking 42 kills (6.00 kps) over the weekend, including 26 kills against Washington State. It was the third time in the last five matches that she's posted 20 or more kills... STANFORD senior MB Foluke Akinradewo needs five more blocks to reach 500 total blocks for her career. With 13 more blocks, she moves into third all-time at Stanford. Sophomore OH Alix Klineman is hitting .371 in Pac-10 play... UCLA senior OH Ali Daley led the Bruins in their victories on the road at the Arizona schools. She hit .328 in collecting 24 kills (3.43 kps) and added 26 digs (3.71 dps)... At 3.53 kills per set, USC freshman OH Alex Jupiter is on pace to become just the third freshman at USC since 1981 to lead the team in kills (Tracy Clark in 1982 and April Ross in 2000)... WASHINGTON sophomore OH/MB Kindra Carlson had the hot hand in a pair of home wins over the Oregon schools. She hit .515 in collecting 32 kills (4.00 kps) against Oregon and Oregon State, including a career-high tying 22 kills against the Ducks... WASHINGTON STATE picked up its first set win in Pac-10 play when it grabbed set two against Oregon State. The Cougars nearly forced a fifth set before they dropped set four, 25-23. In the last 26 Pac-10 matches, Washington State has won nine sets with six of those coming against the Beavers. Junior MB Cassie Robbins leads WSU with a .322 hitting percentage.
