Bruin Men's Soccer Team Rolls To Fourth-Straight Shutout Win

UCLA won its fourth consecutive game via shutout, defeating Oregon State on Sunday afternoon, 1-0. Senior defender Brad Rusin scored the game's only goal in the 14th minute off a cross from Andy Rose and Michael Stephens after a save by Michael Miller rebounded back to Rusin, who then found the back of the net.
The Bruins outshot Oregon State by a 15-6 count. UCLA goalkeeper Brian Perk made three saves to earn his fifth shutout of the year. OSU goalkeeper Mike Miller took the loss despite making seven saves.
Oregon State was forced to play a man down when defender Chris Miller received a red card during the 28th minute.
UCLA's record improves to 7-4-5 overall and 5-1-1 in the Pac-10. Oregon State drops to 5-8-3, 2-4-1. The Pac-10 leading- Bruins, who are unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 games, will host California and Stanford next weekend.
