CALIFORNIA AND STANFORD TIED AT HALFWAY MARK, WASHINGTON ONE BACK

The Conference race has reached the halfway point with CALIFORNIA and STANFORD tied atop the standings, followed by the streaking WASHINGTON Huskies, who have won their last five matches... This week's FSN televised match features ARIZONA at ARIZONA STATE. Paul Sunderland will call the action, while Karch Kiraly and Holly McPeak provide color commentary... Seven Pac-10 teams are among the Top 25 in the latest CBS College Sports/AVCA Top 25 Poll - No. 4 CALIFORNIA, No. 5 STANFORD, No. 6 WASHINGTON, No. 7 OREGON, No. 9 UCLA, and No. 12 USC. It's the 23rd consecutive week with at least six Pac-10 teams ranked among the Top 25.

Around the League - ARIZONA junior L Alanna Resch tallied 35 digs (5.83 dps) in a pair of matches over the weekend, including a match-high 22 at Oregon State. It was the fifth time this season she has posted 20 or more digs, and third time in the last four matches... Sophomore OH Sarah Reaves led ARIZONA STATE to an upset of No. 24 Oregon State with 13 kills and 10 digs. It was the 19th double-double of her career, and 11th of the season... CALIFORNIA had its second-longest winning streak in school history (13) broken against USC. Senior OH Am'ra Solomon recorded a career-high 18 kills vs. UCLA. For the weekend, she averaged 3.40 kps and hit .346 in the process... OREGON remained perfect at home this season with a pair of home sweeps over the Arizona schools and are now 10-0 at Mac Court. The Ducks have won 30 of 32 sets on their home floor this season. The Ducks play out of league with a non-conference tilt against Utah this week. Coach Jim Moore has led the Ducks to a 43-3 record in non-league play during his three-plus seasons at Oregon... OREGON STATE junior OH Rachel Rourke continues to pound away. She posted 25 kills against Arizona, and another 23 kills against Arizona State to average 8.00 kps. She's tallied 20 or more kills in five of the last six matches... STANFORD senior MB Foluke Akinradewo needs three kills to reach 1,500 for her career. With 1,497 kills, she ranks ninth on the school's all-time list, while senior teammate Cynthia Barboza ranks 11th with 1,451 kills... UCLA freshman MB Katie Camp has hit .500 or better in four of the last five matches. During that span of five matches, she is hitting .507 with 42 kills (2.80 kps). During the first 15 matches of the season, she was hitting .307 with 1.86 kps... Coach Mick Haley needs two wins to reach 200 victories at USC. His record guiding the Women of Troy for eight seasons stands at 198-39 (.835). USC knocked off No. 4 California in five sets as junior OH Jessica Gysin tallied a team-high 18 kills and added 10 digs for her third straight double-double, and fifth of the season... WASHINGTON has posted five straight wins to climb to within one match of league-leaders Stanford and California. After posting a 3-4 record in five-set matches last season, the Huskies are 5-1 this season in matches that go the distance. Sophomore OH Kindra Carlson continues to have the hot hand for the Huskies. She hit .579 with 11 kills against Washington State. In the last three matches, she's hitting .528 with 43 kills (3.91 kps)... WASHINGTON STATE freshman OH Meagan Ganzer is hitting .448 and averaging 2.17 kps over the last two matches. She posted a career-high seven kills at Washington.
