STANFORD moves into the top of the standings after an impressive sweep of the Washington schools... This week's FSN televised match features UCLA at WASHINGTON. Paul Sunderland will call the action, while Karch Kiraly and Holly McPeak provide color commentary... Six Pac-10 teams are among the Top 25 in the latest Bison/AVCA Top 25 Poll, in fact all six are among the Top 10 - No. 2 STANFORD, No. 5 WASHINGTON, No. 6 CALIFORNIA, No. 8 OREGON, No. 9 UCLA, and No. 10 USC. It's the 24th consecutive week with at least six Pac-10 teams ranked among the Top 25.

Around the League - ARIZONA sophomore Whitney Dosty led the Wildcats with 16 kills in the loss at Arizona State. She has posted double digit kills in nine matches this season and has led the team in kills eight times... ARIZONA STATE defeated Arizona in Tempe for the third consecutive year and have posted four wins in the last five meetings with its rival. Sophomore OH Sarah Reaves posted her 12th double-double of the season with 11 kills and 12 digs against Arizona.. CALIFORNIA lost its first 3-0 match at home since Nov. 11, 2006 (USC) and had its 16-match home winning streak broken by Washington... OREGON completed its first season sweep of UCLA in school history and captured its first ever win at UCLA with a five set victory over the Bruins. Junior OH Sonja Newcombe posted a season-high 22 kills, hit .327 and posted 18 digs against the Bruins. In three matches last week, junior MB Neticia Enesi hit .558 with 51 kills (3.64 kps)... OREGON STATE junior OH Rachel Rourke posted a career-high 34 kills in the five-set loss to USC. It was one kill shy of matching the OSU single-match record of 35 (Heather Lowe vs. Oregon, Oct. 18, 1996). Rourke is posting a league-leading 4.42 kps. She tops all players in Conference matches only with 5.05 kps... Since its home loss to California, STANFORD has won four straight and has hit a combined .307 in those four matches. In addition, senior OH Cynthia Barboza has had the hot hand the last three matches. She's hit .377 with 47 kills (4.70 kps) during that stretch.. In a home split with the Oregon schools, UCLA freshman MB/OH Amanda Gill hit .372 with 21 kills (2.63 kps) and 19 blocks (2.38 bps). Her 13 total blocks against Oregon are the most in the Pac-10 this season... USC freshman OH Alex Jupiter leads all Pac-10 freshmen with 3.32 kps. Jupiter posted a career-high 20 kills in a five-set win over Oregon State... WASHINGTON has won six of its last seven matches to creep back into contention for the Conference title. Over the last seven Pac-10 matches, the Huskies are hitting .287. The team hit just .208 over the first four league matches... WASHINGTON STATE won the first set at California. It was the first time the Cougars opened up a Pac-10 match with a first set win since taking the first set against Arizona on Nov. 17, 2006. The Cougars pushed the Bears behind the play of senior OH Brittany Johnson (15 kills/.256/9 blocks) and sophomore MB Brittany Tillman (13 kills/.364/5 blocks).
