San Diego State's Jorge Rosales Named Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- SAN DIEGO STATE senior goalkeeper Jorge Rosales has been named the Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for Oct. 28 - Nov. 3, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Rosales' solid play in the net helped lead the Aztecs to Conference victories over Stanford and No. 7 California over the weekend. On Friday, the San Jose, Calif., native faced eight shots and collected two saves in the team's 2-1 win over the Cardinal.
Against the Golden Bears, Rosales totaled five saves to record his first shutout of the season in the Aztecs' 1-0 victory. The senior faced 20 shots and eight corner kicks, while having to back a team that played a man down for the final 49:52 of the game.
This marks the first weekly honor for Rosales and the 10th all-time for San Diego State.
