'I thought we played well, we just didn't tuck away our chances,' head coach Dan Tobias said. 'We need to bounce back from this and come out ready to play on Sunday against Washington.'

The Cougars scored on its first shot attempt when Elysse Van Leer took a pass from Lani Amack and shot inside the box on the right side. A miscommunication by two Wildcat defenders had the ball deflected in the goal.

In the game the Wildcats out the Cougars, but we unable to put any in the net.

Chelsea McIntyre finished the game with four saves, giving her 100 for the season.

The Wildcats will wrap up its final regular season game on Sunday Nov. 9, against Washington is a 12:00 p.m. start Tucson time.

-After further investigation, BRIANNA CACERES did not tie the record for most games played in a career. Caceres would need two more games to tie Claire Bodiya who played from 2003-2007. Bodiya played in 81 games and started 80 of them.

'Claire is an important cornerstone of where Arizona soccer is,' head coach Dan Tobias said. 'She was an outstanding student-athlete who played through injuries and always gave her all. I enjoyed coaching her and watching her develop into the young women she is today.'
