Thomas Weber Named Pac-10 Special Teams Player of the Week

TEMPE, Ariz. - Sun Devil kicker/punter Thomas Weber was named the Pac-10 Special Teams Player of the Week, the conference announced today. It is the fourth Player of the Week honor of his career.

The 2007 Lou Groza Award winner went 3-3 on field goals, helping the Sun Devils to a 39-19 win over Washington in Seattle. The sophomore from Loyola, Calif. connected from 37, 34 and 29 yards against the Huskies, giving him a conference leading 15 field goals. Weber also punted against the Huskies.

Weber was named Pac-10 Special Teams Player of the Week three times last season and is the second Sun Devil to win a weekly conference award this season.
