NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) -- Lawrence Hill had 22 points and 11 rebounds to help Stanford beat Yale 75-67 Friday night in the non-conference opener for both teams.
Anthony Goods added 19 points for the Cardinal, including three consecutive 3-point shots to help put Stanford up 50-41 with 11:33 left.
Alex Zampier played all 40 minutes and finished with 15 points for Yale. Ross Morin added 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Stanford's biggest lead was 13 points, 66-53, with 3:26 left. The Cardinal shot 52 percent, 13 of 25, from the floor in the second half.
Stanford grabbed the lead for good 1 minute into the second half, 34-33, after the lead changed hands 11 times in the first half.
