Dent Works With Wildcats

TUCSON- Volunteer assistant coach Taylor Dent is entering his second season with the Arizona men's tennis team, returned to Tucson today where he will continue to train and work with current Wildcats.

'We are excited to have Taylor here working with our guys,' head coach Tad Berkowitz said.

Dent, who was coached by current assistant coach Tom Lloyd, won four ATP titles between 2002 and 2003. He finished the 2003 season with a year-end ranking of 33. Dent was inactive for most of the 2006 season with a back injury. Then in March 2007, he underwent back surgery. After a couple of season recovering, Dent is working his way back into shape.

Dent was born in Newport Beach, Calif. He is the son of former Australian Open finalist Phil Dent. Dent is known as an aggressive serve-and-volleyer. Dent and Andy Roddick have the record for the fastest serve at 155 mph.
