USC's Sluiter and Washington's Taylor Named Pac-10 Co-Golfers for Novemeber

Tim Sluiter of USC and Nick Taylor of Washington have been named Pacific-10 Conference Co-Golfers of the Month for November 2008.
Sluiter, a sophomore from Hattem, The Netherlands, and Taylor, a junior from Abbotsford, BC, Canada, tied for medalist honors at the CordeValle Collegiate, each finishing at 4-under par for the tournament.
Sluiter fired a 70-70-72=212 in leading the Trojans to the team title by a whopping 26 strokes in the event, which featured five teams ranked in the top 25.
Taylor birdied three of his final four holes in the final round to grab his share of the individual title. His rounds of 71-71-70=212 made him the only player to shoot under par every round in the tournament.
