Nov. 24, 2008
STANFORD, Calif. - The 2008 NCAA DI Women's Soccer Championship quarterfinal match between Stanford and Portland will be played Friday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Cardinal's Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
Fans should be advised to purchase tickets in advance to avoid waiting in long lines on game day. Tickets can be purchased from 9 p.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at the Stanford Athletics Ticket Office (located at Gate 2 on the south end of Stanford Stadium), at the soccer box office on game day, online, or by calling 1-800-STANFORD. The Ticket Office will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
All seats are general admission and the first 1,500 fans to arrive will have access to seating, while any late arriving fans will be directed to standing room only. Be advised that purchasing a ticket in advance guarantees you admittance to the facility but does not guarantee you a seat. Prices are $8 for adults, and $5 for students, youth, and seniors.
Any fans that are unable to attend the match can follow all the action online through CBS College Sports GameTracker live stats or via a live webcast. The links for both the live stats and webcast will be available later this week on the Stanford women's soccer online schedule.
