Hill and Budinger Lead Arizona over NAU

TUCSON (AP)--Jordan Hill utilized his strength and power inside for 23 points, while Chase Budinger got hot from the perimeter for 22 points in a 74-57 victory over Northern Arizona on Sunday.
The victory was the 25th straight for Arizona in the series. The last Lumberjack win came during the 1968-69 season.
Hill's dunk and pair of free throws pushed the Wildcats (4-1) ahead 63-53 with 5:27 remaining after NAU closed to within six on back-to-back three-pointers from Josh Wilson and Matt Johnson.
Hill scored 15 of his points in the second half, while finishing with 10 rebounds.
Budinger hit back-to-back threes to wrap up a 20-6 run in the opening seven minutes of the second half to give the Wildcats a 51-39 lead.
Arizona made 8 of its first 10 field goals in the second half after NAU took a 33-31 lead on a Shane Johannsen dunk.
Nic Wise added 18 points for Arizona. Wilson led NAU (1-5) with 14 points, while Johannsen added 13.
Wilson tied the game at 31-31 at halftime on a three-pointer with 37 seconds remaining until the break.
The Lumberjacks made just 4 of 19 three-pointers in the game.
