PLAYER OF THE YEAR -- FOLUKE AKINRADEWO, STANFORDAkinradewo, a four-time All-Pac-10 selection, repeats as Pac-10 Player of the Year and becomes the fourth player in Pac-10 history to earn the honor more than once. She joins UCLA's Daiva Tomkus (1988 and 1989); Stanford's Kerri Walsh (1998 and 1999); and Stanford's Logan Tom (2001 and 2002). It's the 13th time a Stanford player has been named Pac-10 Player of the Year. Akinradewo, a middle blocker from Plantation, Fla., was among the league statistical leaders in hitting percentage (.456/1st), blocks (1.48 bps/8th), and points (6th/4.12 pps). She helped the defending Pac-10 champions post a 26-3 record overall and their 12th Pac-10 crown with a 17-1 league mark.

FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR -- AMANDA GIL, UCLA Gil, a middle blocker from San Jose, Calif., is the fourth UCLA player, and first since 1998, to earn Pac-10 Freshman of the Year honors. She helped guide the Bruins to their 10th consecutive 20-win season and 27th NCAA Tournament appearance. She leads the league, and ranks second nationally, with 1.49 blocks per set. She also is the league's top freshman in hitting percentage (.324).

COACH OF THE YEAR -- JOHN DUNNING, STANFORD John Dunning has been named the Pac-10 Coach of the Year after guiding Stanford to its 12th Pac-10 title with a 17-1 league record, and a 26-3 record overall. Dunning currently has the Cardinal ranked No. 2 in the Bison/AVCA Top 25 poll, and is taking the Cardinal into the NCAA Tournament as the No. 2 seed. This is the third time Dunning has been tabbed Pac-10 Coach of the Year (also in 2001 and 2007). Dunning has a career record of 671-138 (.829) in 24 seasons, including a record of 234-36 (.867) in eight seasons at Stanford.
