Spicer helped the 14th-seeded Bruins advance to the NCAA Regionals for the sixth straight season after they posted victories over LSU and Duke in the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament last weekend. Spicer had a pair of double-doubles, recording 41 assists and 15 digs against LSU on Friday and 35 assists and 11 digs in a three-set sweep of Duke on Saturday.
Spicer began the week by earning her fourth consecutive, first-team All-Pac-10 selection, becoming the third UCLA player and 16th Bruin in conference history to accomplish the feat. Along with her setting and digging prowess in the first and second-round victories, Spicer helped out in the kill department, totaling seven kills against LSU and five against Duke.
