Around the league... ARIZONA is shooting .458 (44-of-96) from behind the arc. Over the last five games, Arizona has connected on 35-of-58 attempts (.603) from three-point range. The Cats have shot better than 50 percent from behind the arc in four of those five games, including a season-best 61.5 percent (8-of-13) at Texas A&M. Arizona has won five games this season by an average of 16.5 points, while its two losses were by one point each... ARIZONA STATE is 7-1 for just the second time in 18 seasons (1991-92 to present). ASU was 11-1 in 2004-05. After starting the season 2-of-14 (.143) from the three-point stripe in the first four games, sophomore G James Harden is 16-of-22 (.727) from the three-point stripe in the past four games. Harden has 106 points in his past 105 minutes played... CALIFORNIA junior G Jerome Randle has led the team in scoring in seven of eight games this season. He's second in the Pac-10, averaging 20.3 points per game and is shooting 23-of-37 (.622) from three-point range. Junior C Jordan Wilkes has grabbed 39 rebounds (4.9 rpg). He had a total of 54 rebounds in 46 games (1.2 rpg) played entering this season... OREGON freshman G Garrett Sim averaged 22.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game for the Ducks in a pair of games last week. He had a career-high 28 points on 10-of-14 shooting in the loss at Utah on Wednesday. Sim, who has started the last six games for UO, has four-straight games of scoring in double figures... OREGON STATE is picking it up on the defensive end as the Beavers are fifth in the league in field goal percent defense (.425). Last season, OSU was last in the league, allowing .467 shooting from the field... After Sunday's game at Colorado State, STANFORD will not leave the Bay Area to play another game until the second weekend of Pac-10 play at the Washington schools (Jan. 8 and 10). In that stretch, the Cardinal will have six home games and one road game at Santa Clara... UCLA senior G Darren Collison has scored in double digits in each of the seven games played this season. He's only had two longer streaks, scoring double figures in 10 consecutive last season and posting double digits in 12 straight as a sophomore. After shooting just 1-of-12 (.083) in the loss at Texas, the UCLA freshmen bounced back to shoot 15-of-27 (. 556) in the win over Cal State Northridge. In four games played in Pauley Pavilion, UCLA's freshmen are shooting a combined 51-of-83 (.614), while shooting just 13-of-38 (.342) away from home... After posting a career-high 13 assists for USC in the loss at Oklahoma, junior G Daniel Hackett is leading the league in assists (7.0 apg). He's had five or more assists in each of the seven games played this season. He posted five or more assists in just six games last season, and in just seven games during his entire freshman season... WASHINGTON senior F Jon Brockman continues to add to his double-double count. After picking up a pair of double-doubles last week, he now has 45 for his career. Brockman needs 17 more rebounds to become the 12th player in Pac-10 history to reach 1,000 career rebounds... Senior F Daven Harmeling hit just 6-of-16 (.375) from three-point range during the first five games, but has knocked down 9-of-16 (.565) from long range over the last three games for WASHINGTON STATE.
