Andy Levitre Named Pro Football Weekly First Team All-American

Oregon State senior offensive tackle Andy Levitre has been named First Team All-American by Pro Football Weekly, it was announced Monday. The PFW All-America team is compiled by a collection of NFL personnel.
Levitre, a senior co-captain from Ben Lomond, Calif., has helped lead Oregon State to an 8-4 record overall, including a tie for second in the Pac-10 Conference at 7-2. The right tackle anchored an offensive line that has allowed only 16 quarterback sacks. Levitre was selected First Team All-American last month by the American Football Coaches Association and earned Second Team honors by the Associated Press.
Oregon State looks for its fifth consecutive bowl victory Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. PST against the Pittsburgh Panthers in the 75th Brut Sun Bowl. The game will be televised by CBS Sports.
