Bears Cruise Past Colgate, 83-48

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) -- Jerome Randle scored 16 points, Patrick Christopher had 15 and California beat Colgate 83-48 on Monday night for its fourth win in five games.
Jamal Boykin added 13 points and Christopher hit three straight 3-pointers during one stretch late in the second half. Cal (9-2) took advantage of sloppy play by Colgate (3-7), the New York school out of the Patriot League.
Anthony Hill and Ben Jonson each scored 10 points for the Raiders, who played for the first time in nine days after a break for final exams since beating Monmouth 54-53 on Dec. 13 to end a six-game losing streak.
