(AP) - Jayne Appel had 16 points and nine rebounds and No. 11 Stanford survived an off day to beat UC Davis 84-49 on Sunday in its final tuneup before the start of Pac-10 play.  Kayla Pedersen added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the cold-shooting Cardinal, who returned home to Maples Pavilion after completing a tough three-game, nine-day road trip. EUGENE, Ore. - Utah’s Morgan Warburton scored all of her game-high 19 points in the second half, and erased any hope of an Oregon comeback as the Ducks fell 63-49 on Sunday afternoon at Mac Court. PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State women's basketball team dropped its final nonconference game of the 2008-09 season, falling to 18th-ranked Kansas State 74-58 at Friel Court, Sunday.
