Thursday Is `Fill Gill' Night For Women's Basketball

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State women's basketball game Thursday has been designated as a 'Fill Gill' event, with the Beavers slated to take on Pacific-10 Conference foe Arizona State. The game starts at 7 p.m. PT.
All general admission seats to the game will be sold for $1 and can be purchased at the Gill Coliseum ticket office, by calling 1-800-GOBEAVS or by visiting osubeavers.com. Additionally, any GenerationBeavs member who shows their credentials will get in for free.
Come watch the Beavers open up their Pac-10 home schedule with the Sun Devils, who are 8-6 on the year. Oregon State, meanwhile, is 9-3 and features two Pac-10 Players of the Week this season in sophomores Talisa Rhea and Alex Mitchell.
Oregon State possesses one of the top offenses in the Pac-10 this season, ranking first in scoring margin, third in field-goal percentage and fourth in average points per game. Rhea is fourth in the Pac-10 with 14.7 points per game, and Mitchell is seventh with 13.9. She also leads the conference with a .642 field-goal percentage.
Mercedes Fox-Griffin, meanwhile, has continued her status as one of the top point guards in the Pac-10 and is averaging 4.6 assists per game, second in the league.

The Pac-10 package includes one ticket to each of the team's nine conference games at Gill Coliseum. Reserved tickets for the Pac-10 package are $56 while general admission tickets cost $45.
