California's Henninger and UCLA's Schofield Named December's Pac-10 Divers Of The Month

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- CALIFORNIA sophomore Tom Henninger and UCLA senior Tess Schofield have been named Pac-10 Divers of the Month for December, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Competing at the Texas Invitational Dec. 4-6, Henninger turned in a NCAA Zone qualifying score of 326.65 on the three-meter springboard and placed sixth in the event. His one-meter score of 313.65 also earned him another sixth-place finish. The Genside, Pa., native placed eighth on the platform totaling 251.15 points.
This is the second monthly honor for Henninger this season and the fifth Men's Diver of the Month all-time for California.
Schofield led all Bruin divers at the Texas Invitational in Austin, Texas. The Mission Viejo, Calif., native placed third on the platform with a season-high score of 245.60. Schofield finished 22nd on the three-meter (215.60) and 25th on the one-meter (204.20).
This marks the first monthly honor for Schofield and the sixth Women's Diver of the Month overall for UCLA.
