Stanford's Hill Named U.S. Bank Pac-10 Men's Basketball Player Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- STANFORD senior forward Lawrence Hill has been named the U.S. Bank Pac-10 Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 12 - 18, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Hill matched his career high with 25 points, shooting 73 percent from the field, as Stanford upset No. 22 California Saturday night. The Glendale, Ariz., native was also 2-2 from three-point range and totaled three rebounds and three assists in the win for the Cardinal.

Hill is currently 12th in the Pac-10 in scoring (14.7 ppg) and ranks ninth in rebounding (6.1 rpg).

This is the first weekly honor for Hill and the 42nd all-time for Stanford.
