Tickets Remain for Men's Hoops in Civil War

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Approximately 1,000 tickets remain for Saturday's men's basketball contest between Oregon State and Oregon, the OSU athletic department announced on Wednesday. The meeting between the Beavers and the Ducks is the 330th in the Civil War series presented by Northwest Dodge Dealers and is the most-played series in men's college basketball.

Oregon State enters with a mark of 9-10 on the season, 3-5 in Pac-10 Conference play, as the Beavers have won three straight heading into the contest.
Roeland Schaftenaar led the way for Oregon State in the sweep of the Bay Area schools last weekend as the forward was named Pac-10 Conference Player of the Week after averaging 20.0 points and 5.0 assists per contest.
Calvin Haynes continues to lead the Oregon State as the sophomore guard is averaging 16.2 points per game while shooting 50.7 percent from the field.
Oregon enters the contest with a record of 6-14 on the season, 0-8 in Pac-10 play after falling to Stanford and Cal last weekend.
