Arizona's Budinger Named U.S. Bank Pac-10 Men's Basketball Player Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- ARIZONA junior forward Chase Budinger has been named the U.S. Bank Pac-10 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 26 - Feb. 1, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Budinger led Arizona to Pac-10 wins against No. 23 Washington and Washington State over the weekend. The Encinitas, Calif., native averaged 22.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists for the Wildcats. In the two games, Budinger played 76 total minutes, dishing out 11 assists with zero turnovers. His 25 points against the Huskies was his highest point total in Pac-10 play this season. Budinger posted his second double-double this year against Washington State with 19 points and 11 rebounds to go with a career-high seven assists.

This marks the second weekly honor for Budinger and the 74th overall for Arizona.
