No. 6 Cal Men's Swimming Defeats Cal State Bakersfield, 104-81

BERKELEY, CALIF. - The No. 6-ranked Cal men's swimming team won the first seven events and then swam the next four races as exhibition, defeating Cal State Bakersfield, 104-81, Saturday afternoon at Spieker Aquatics Complex. The Golden Bears, who had topped No. 23 USC, 157-130, on Friday, improved to 5-1 in dual meet competition. Cal will next conclude its 2008-09 regular season Saturday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. against Bay Area rival and No. 2-ranked Stanford at Spieker Aquatics Complex.
