Women's Soccer to Host Spring Break Camp
Feb. 9, 2009
SEATTLE - The University of Washington women's soccer team will host a three-day Spring Break Husky Soccer Camp, April 1-3, featuring Husky players and coaches.
The camp will run from 10 a.m. - Noon all three day. The total cost for the three-day camp will be $100.
The camp, which will be held at the University of Washington Athletic Facilities, teaches campers how to beat players one-versus-one or with a combination of passes with teammates. Tips on increasing your chances of finishing as well as how not to get beat on the dribble defensively will also be taught. A goalkeeper coach will also be available for those who play in the goal.
In addition to teaching youth the proper way to play the game of soccer, the camp also aims to increase awareness of Husky Soccer at the University of Washington and will help support the team's trip to Brazil this summer, where they hope to play against some of the best soccer talent in the world.

The Husky women's soccer team will also host two spring games at Husky Soccer Field on May 2 and May 9 with all proceeds benefiting the team's tour of Brazil.
