STANFORD, Calif. (AP) -- Lawrence Hill scored 20 points to help Stanford beat Cal State Bakersfield 85-50 on Tuesday night.

Landry Fields added 10 points for the Cardinal (15-7), who won their 11th straight nonconference game.

Latunde Santwon and Cory Brown each scored eight points to lead the Roadrunners (6-18), who fell to 1-13 on the road and lost their sixth in seven overall.

Stanford freshman Jeremy Green made his collegiate starting debut in place of leading scorer Anthony Goods, who sat out with the flu.

The Roadrunners are in their fourth year of making the transition to a fully-fledged NCAA Division I program.

Cal State Bakersfield faced its biggest deficit of the season when it fell behind by 41 points late in the game.

Fields hit a jumper at the buzzer to give Stanford a 50-25 halftime lead.
