What has the transition been like going from Arizona State to the University of Arizona?
'I think the transition has been pretty easy. The weather is similar and both schools are in the same conference so there was not much to adjust to. My coaches and teammates have helped me feel more comfortable.'

How did you get involved with the sport of tennis?
'I started playing tennis at the age of eight. My father played and taught me how to play and I have not stopped playing ever since.'

My goals for this season are...
'I hope to lead my team to the NCAA Tournament and advance to the Sweet 16. Individually, I would like a good singles record overall.'

On my iPod is...
'I have a lot of house music, Spanish music and a little bit of hip hop on my ipod.'

I would love to trade places for a day with...
'I would love to trade places for a day with Carmen Electra.'

My favorite athlete to watch compete is...
'I love watching Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, especially when they are playing for a tournament championship.'

The talent I'd most like to have is...
'The talent I'd most like to have is be a Hollywood actor like Russell Crowe.'

My favorite thing about the University of Arizona is...
'My favorite thing about the University of Arizona is the beautiful campus, great athletics, beautiful women and amazing weather.'

The attribute I most like about myself is...
'The attribute that I most like about myself is that I am funny, but I struggle with my English so I don't know if that is what's funny.'

My plans after college are...
'My plan for after college is to hopefully play pro tennis and have a nice long career.'

My funnies teammate is...
'MY funniest teammate is David Humphreys because he is hilarious and always joking around. He makes me laugh all the time.'

The sport I'm the worst at is...
'I think my worst sport is basketball. It's pretty embarrassing watching me try to dribble and shoot.'

Something about me that others would be surprised to hear is...
'I think others would be surprised to hear that I have attended three different universities: Georgia State, Arizona State and Arizona.'

Which of your teammates would you like to trade places with for a day and why?
'The teammate I would like to trade places for a day with is Andres Carrasco because he is a cool guy and is funny.'

The best advice I've received was....
'The Best advice I've received is from my parents who told me always to follow my instincts and do what I like.'

My biggest pet peeve is...
'My biggest pet peeve is hypocritical people. I just can't stand people who are hypocritical.'

What I miss most about Ecuador is...
'The things I miss the most about Ecuador are my friends, my family and all the Latina girls.'
