Cougars Finish Fifth at Qdoba Invitational

Miami Lakes, Fla. - The Washington State women's golf team finished fifth at the Qdoba Invitational, held at the par-72, 6,223-yard Senator Course at the Don Shula Golf Resort.

The Cougars were led by Amy Eneroth who finished in a tie for eighth. The senior out of Spokane, Wash., shot a 74 (+2) during the final round and carded a three-round total of 224 (+8). The finish gave Eneroth her 19th career top 25 finish.

Fellow senior Jessica Black posted a 226 (+10) for the tournament and finished in a tie for 14th. The tournament marked Black's 18th career top 25 finish, moving her into sole possession of seventh place on WSU's all-time list.

Freshman Kristen Allard also added another top 25 finish to her resume. She carded a 76 (+4) on the final day, good enough to put her in a tie for 19th. She now has two top 25 finishes in her debut season. Freshman Andrea Rosete just missed the top 25 finishing in a tie for 29th with a three-round total of 232 (+16).

The Cougars have a long break before they compete again. The women's next tournament will be the Spring Invitational in Las Vegas beginning Monday, March 9.
