Feb. 18, 2009
Fans can catch live audio or video broadcasts of every Husky baseball game this season on the Dawg Channel at gohuskies.com.
The Dawg Channel will provide live audio commentary of every road game and live video (along with audio) of every home game. The online broadcasts of the 20 Husky games that will air live on radio (KKNW AM-1150) will be available at no charge, though to watch the video of those games, you'll need to be a subscriber.
The charge for this service is $9.95, a price that includes the entire season. Even taking out the 20 games that will be on KKNW AM-1150, that breaks down to just over 28 cents per game. Including all 55 games, it's only 18 cents a game.
The best way to sign up for the season package is to click on the audio link for any baseball game. Audio links can be found for each individual game on the schedule page, or for the current week's links, check the events calendar at the bottom of the front page of gohuskies.com.
Click on this link to be directed to the broadcast of this season's opener Friday at Fresno State, and then follow directions to sign up.
Broadcasts typically begin 10-15 minutes prior to the first pitch. The 2009 season gets underway this Friday when the Huskies take on defending College World Series champion Fresno State at 6:00 p.m. PST.
