Tickets On Sale for Pac-10 Championships at Stanford
Feb. 24, 2009
STANFORD, Calif. - Tickets are now on sale for the Pacific-10 Conference Women's Gymnastics Championships, which will be held at Stanford's Maples Pavilion on March 21 at 4 p.m.
The event will feature three teams ranked among the nation's Top 10, including Stanford. The Cardinal has won three conference titles in the past five years and is the defending champion.
The meet will include one of the most anticipated showdowns of the season, when Stanford and UCLA finally compete head to head. Both have been among the top four teams in the country all season and were scheduled to meet in February, only for the Bruins to be forced to pull out because of an illness that swept over the team. Of course, Oregon State, the runner-up to Stanford last season, figures to contend for the title as well.
Overall, six of the Pac-10 teams have been ranked among the Top 25 this season.
Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $5 for students, youths, and seniors, and $3 each for groups of 10 or more that have pre-ordered.
Every individual age 3 and above must have a ticket.
There are no returns, refunds, or exchanges.
Tickets will be mailed after March 1.
Orders received after March 13 will be available at Will Call (Photo ID required).
