Jones Second On 1-Meter At Pac-10 Championships

USC freshman diver Harrison Jones took second on 1-meter springboard on the first day of the 2009 Men's Pac-10 Diving Championships at the 2009 Pac-10 Swimming and Diving Championships the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Wash., on Wednesday (Feb. 25).

Jones' 374.50 was second only to Stanford's Dwight Dumais (383.05).Trojan sophomore Steven Starks also reached the final, finishing eighth with 289.10. USC sophomore Greg Miller just missed making the final, taking ninth in prelims.

Men's 3-meter takes place Friday with platform on Saturday. The 2009 Pac-10 Men's Swimming Championship is scheduled for next Wednesday through Saturday (March 4-7) in Long Beach, Calif.
