Stanford Continues Strong Effort At Pac-10 Diving Championships

Federal Way, Wash. - The Stanford divers continued their strong effort at the Pac-10 Diving Championships. Contested a week before the Pac-10 Swimming Championships the scores will not be added until next week. However, for a second straight day, the Stanford divers finished with solid results.
On Thursday it was Brent Eichenseer leading the way for Stanford. The Stanford sophomore finished third in the 3-meter competition with a score of 388.15.
Also competing for Stanford was Dwight Dumais, who finished seventh with a score of 3:04.30. A day after winning the Pac-10 title in the 1-meter, Dumais will also score in the 3-meter.
The final diving event will be the platform competition, which will take place Friday. The Cardinal will look to continue to give the Stanford swimmers points heading into the Pac-10 Swimming Championships that take place March 4-7, in Long Beach, Calif.
