USC Men's Diving Takes to Second Day of Pac-10 Diving Championships with a Second Place Finish by Jones.

The USC men's diving team posted a second place finish in 3-meter diving at the Pac-10 Diving Championships at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way,Wash. on Thursday ( Feb. 26).

In 3-meter diving, USC freshman Harrison Jones finished in second place with a finals score of 398.15. Jones was second coming out of the prelims to eventual winner Michael Benedetti of ASU with a score of 368.60.

Sophomore Steven Starks qualified seventh and finished in eighth with a finals score of 290.00.

USC Sophomore Greg Miller finished in 12th in the prelims with a score of 242.05.

Next up for men's diving is platform which takes place on Saturday (Feb. 28). The 2009 Pac-10 Men's Swimming Championship is scheduled for next Wednesday through Saturday (March 4-7) in Long Beach, Calif.
