USC freshman diver Harrison Jones won his first career Pac-10 by running away with the 10-meter platform competition on the final day of action of the Pac-10 Men's Diving Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Wash., on Friday (Feb. 27).

Jones took first with 417.60 points, easily distancing himself from the rest of field. Two other Trojans made the finals, however. Sophomore Steven Starks (314.40) and Greg Miller (270.40) finished fifth and seventh, respectively.

Jones was second on both 1- and 3-meter before securing his first Pac-10 crown.

'Harrison, he was just amazing,' USC 10th-year head diving coach Hongping Li said. 'Outstanding. I think it was one of his best performances in a while. He was very confident, which was key.'
