Stanford Football Players Participate in Reading Across America Prorgam

STANFORD, Calif. - Members of the Stanford football team celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss yesterday with students from Palo Alto area schools as part of the Red Across America program.

Seniors Chris Marinelli and Tavita Pritchard, junior Doug Baldwin and freshman Michael Thomas participated in the event, which is designed to celebrate the great author and to highlight the importance of reading in America's elementary and middle schools.
