Online and Radio Coverage Announced for Saturday

March 4, 2009

Corvallis, Ore. -

Oregon State University Athletics and Beaver Sports Properties, a division of Learfield Sports, announces several radio programming changes for this Saturday’s action.

The final regular season women’s basketball game will tip at 12:30 p.m. against the UCLA Bruins from legendary Gill Coliseum.  The game will air live over KTHH (990 AM) in the mid-Willamette Valley and is available for free via Beaver Nation Online with Todd Mansfield calling the action.

The No. 19 Beaver baseball team will play UC Riverside in the third game of the inaugural Palm Springs Tournament at 2 p.m.  Ron Callan calls the action on KLOO (1340 AM) in the mid-Willamette Valley,  KKAD (1550 AM) in Portland and on Beaver Nation Online.  Due to conflicts in programming the game will not be carried on the radio in Roseburg, Bend, Eugene, Medford or Klamath Falls.

The day concludes with the men’s basketball team’s final game of the regular season, a 5 p.m. tipoff from the Galen Center on the campus of the University of Southern California.  Mike Parker calls the action courtside over the entire Beaver Sports Radio Network.  Live video will be available online via Beaver Nation Online for subscribers – the Trojans’ broadcast crew will call the action online.  There is no television coverage of this game.

In addition, FSN Northwest, the official television partner of OSU Athletics, has announced that it will broadcast Thursday’s men’s game vs. UCLA from Pauley Pavilion via tape delay at 10 p.m.  The game can be seen live in the Los Angeles area, as well as other cable and satellite networks, on Prime Ticket beginning at 7:30 p.m.
