Cal's 400 Medley Relay Breaks NCAA Record at Pac-10 Championships

LONG BEACH, CALIF. - Cal's 400 medley relay team of senior backstroker David Russell, sophomore breaststroker Damir Dugonjic, sophomore butterflyer Graeme Moore and sophomore freestyler Nathan Adrian won the 2009 Pac-10 title in an NCAA record time of 3:03.30, topping the former mark of 3:04.07 set by Northwestern in 2007. After 14 events, the No. 6-ranked Golden Bears remain in second place behind top-ranked Stanford, 607.5-572. Defending 2008 national champion Arizona is in third place (421), followed by USC (269), Washington (216) and Arizona State (171.5).
