Cougars Travel to Spring Invitational

What's Happening This Week: The Washington State women's golf team will travel to Boulder City, Nev., to compete in the UNLV Spring Invitational where it earned co-champion honors last season...the tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,234-yard Boulder Creek Golf Club...The first round will begin Monday, March 9, with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m...complete results will be posted on www.golfstat.com.

The Field: The 18-team field will pair Washington State with BYU, Campbell, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kent State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, SMU, Texas Tech, Tulsa, Washington and host school UNLV.

Traveling for the Cougars: The Cougar contingent will include seniors Jessica Black and Amy Eneroth, sophomore Allison Travis and freshmen Kristen Allard and Andrea Rosete.

Last Time Out: The women are coming off a fifth-place finish at the Qdoba Invitational in Miami Lakes, Fla...Eneroth led the Cougars and finished in a tie for eighth...Black and Allard also grabbed top 25 finishes.

2007-08 Results: The Cougars were co-champions of the Spring Invitational last year and posted the best three-round total in WSU history...four competitors placed inside the top 25 including Eneroth and Black.
