Bruins Finish 12th at Hackler Invitational

The UCLA men's golf team finished 12th at the General Jim Hackler Invitational, hosted by Coastal Carolina at TPC Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet, SC.
On Monday, the Bruins posted a team score of 313 (+25) for a 54-hole score of 922 (+58), 41 strokes behind first-place Wake Forest at 881 (+17). North Carolina State was second at 891 (+27), followed by Pepperdine at 893 (+29).
Freshman Gregor Main was UCLA's top finisher, tying for 16th place at 224 (+8) after posting a final round 77 (+5). Senior Erik Flores tied for 19th place at 225 (+9) following a final round score of 78 (+6). Sophomore Philip Francis and freshman Alex Shi Yup Kim each posted scores of 79 (+7). Francis tied for 62nd at 236 (+20) and Kim tied for 65th at 237 (+21). Senior James Lee tied for 74th place at 247 (+31).
North Carolina State's Matt Hill won the event with a three-round total of 213 (-3) after firing a final round 69 (-3).
