Benedetti Continues Dominance on Platform at Zone E Championship

In his three years of NCAA diving, Arizona State diver Micky Benedetti has dominated the platform competition of the Zone E Championships. In his senior year, Benedetti continued the trend and won his third straight Zone E platform title. Benedetti crushed the competition, scoring over 80 points more than second place. The All-American totaled 789.95 in the final to take first. Benedetti has won five Zone Championships in his career, two in the 3-meter and three on platform.

Brittany Jumer also competed in the platform. The sophomore scored 399.95 to take 10th.

The ASU women's swimmer qualifiers will head to the NCAA Championships which begins on March 19th. Benedetti will join Vincius Waked as the two Sun Devil qualifiers for the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships. The men's competition begins March 26.
