'Austin played really well today in the rain and cold. Nick had a good week with another top 25 in a very strong field,' said WSU Head Coach Walt Williams.
Freshman Trent Sanders was even in the first round and carded a final round score of 79 (+7) to finish in a tie for 40th place. Junior Kevin Tucker finished in a tie for 42nd place after posting a three-round score of 228 (+12).

The WSU Cougars posted a score of 301 in the final round to finish two strokes out of the top five teams.
'We played well up until the last few holes then we gave several shots away. We beat four teams that are ranked ahead of us including Vanderbilt and Louisville,' said Williams. 'It wasn't a bad week and I expect we'll move up in the national rankings.'
Next up for the Cougars is the Duck Invitational, March 23-24 in Eugene, Ore.
